Egypt has always been at the center of attention not just now but also in the past few centuries. In the past it was one of the greatest civilizations of our time. Now in the 21st Century Egypt is one of the largest and most developed country’s in Africa and the Middle east. It has stood out above all other country’s that share the continent and the nearby area of the middle east with it. With a population of roughly 76 Million people it stands to gain even further strength in the coming years. Although Egypt is a great country democracy still is something that still hasn’t caught on.
Democracy is a important thing in every country’s step towards being a efficient power. I hope the people of Egypt soon realize this and stand up for themselves and their country. Egypt is the center point of many of mankind greatest achievements such as the pyramids and with Egypt becoming a democracy it would encourage more and more to travel to its history rich region and maybe even become a stronger international travel destination then it already is.

You are overlooking Turkey. Turkey has been the seat of an empire for a larger portion of its history than Egypt. Turkey has a far larger economy and a larger, more advanced military. Turkey is already a functioning democracy.
I do agree turkey is also an important part of the middle east. But having been to both country’s Egypt in My opinion is making huge strides towards advancement in technology, medicine and in their economy. I am glad your commenting allot because you fueled another article. You are very correct turkey also hold a key to the future of the middle east.
